Surprisingly there were two cruise ships in the bay this morning, very unusual in January.

We went into Nice today to enjoy a kebab in the park and despite the blue sky and sunshine it was very cold on the scooter. The French are as obsessed with the sun as we are, all the park benches in the park are full of people seeking the sun.

Nice was eerily quiet today – where is everyone? Even the Prom was quiet.
