  Day 2213 (Friday) 30 th June 2023 Today’s photos This villa is in between Villefranche and Beaulieu – not far from the big apartment we look after. I have never seen anyone there This is taken above Nice, you can just about make out the ‘I love Nice’ sign. It was a bit cloudy this morning but it soon cleared up and was wonderfully sunny again this afternoon. The battery for Kisbee arrived today so hopefully it’s going to be fine but Huw is already looking at a bigger bike – a 125. I’ll miss Kisbee. There was another cruise ship in the bay so town was busy, it was quite late getting here so hopefully all the passengers will stay in Villefranche rather than going to Eze or Monaco.   Day 2212 (Thursday) 29 th June 2023 Today’s photos This is a villa in Cap d’Antibes and these are the fountains in Place Massena in Nice   There was an enormous cruise ship in the bay this morning – it is said to carry 5,000 passengers – gross!   Day 2211 (Wednesday) 28 th June 2023 Today’s photos This is Menton and this Beaulieu   Huw left very early this morning but was soon back because Kisbee wouldn’t start again so he had to walk up to clean the swimming pool. He came back an hour later as I was leaving for the train station to go to Nice – I haven’t caught the train to Nice in ages.   I called into International House because I haven’t seen the director, Romain for months. I knocked on his office door and he wasn’t there but a man showed me where his new office is. They have extended the school next door and there are quite a few new classrooms and offices. They are very busy at the moment but just teaching French, the government have changed the rules for granting hours for learning English. They used to give each student  a number of hours to use to learn English (usually about 30 hours) but now they are just paying 30% of the total thus no hours for me. The new rule only affects a number of schools so the other scho
