Day 2397 (Sunday) 31 st December 2023 No special photos today. It was quite cloudy this morning, the sun tried to come out but it never really happened, so we decided to have a lovely lazy day at home.   Here are the rest of the food options from all over France. The one food you need to try from every part of France Lyon: Quenelle The eastern French city of Lyon, referred to as France's gastronomic capital, deserves its own shout-out on this list.  Lyon is a foodie's dream. Be sure to check out the ‘ bouchon ’ restaurants which specialise in the best in local cuisine. The eastern French city is where  blanquette de veau  was invented - a veal stew with creamy sauce.  We are going to recommend ordering  la quenelle  - a sausage-shaped creamed fish (pike) or sausage. It sort of resembles a dumpling.  For a sweet treat, consider ordering the  brioche de pralines rosé . Pink pralines (nuts in a sugar coating) are the city’s signature sweet and while they’re great on their own,

Day 2396 (Saturday) 30 th December 2023 Today’s special photos… This is the prom in Nice and this is Place Massena in Nice. There was a cruise ship in the bay this morning and it was nice and sunny. We had to get up early to go and get the big apartment ready for a check-in this afternoon.   Day 2395 (Friday) 29 th December 2023 Today’s special photos… This is Menton and this is Nice. It was a bit cloudy today but we decided to go to the Christmas market in Antibes anyway. We took Kisbee 2 up to Pat and Dee’s place, parked up and got in the car. This is the view from their carpark.  The promenade in Nice was packed full of tourists enjoying the weak sunshine and lunch, it almost looked like summer.  It was a shame the sky wasn’t picture perfect blue because the market looks much better when it is, but the stalls were still lovely. We had a glass of vin chaud and shared some chips at one of the stalls. I bought some sweets on our way out – this sweet stall is amazing and it sold lots of very expensive nougat. This is the rest of the website from yesterday and the day before… Top French Experiences Outside of Paris It's no surprise that Paris is the most visited city in France and that's well reflected in the list yesterday. We recommend to all our clients to spen
